okay i just remembered something very funny. i just had to blog it before i forget it again.

last week during wednesday's math lecture, i sat behind this angmoh guy who wore a shirt which had chinese characters on it. the print was quite stylish, italicised and all, so i suppose when he bought the shirt he thought the chinese phrase had to be pretty snazzy. well these were the words printed on the back of his shirt:

...
...
...
...
...

棉花

HAHAHAHAH. yes, i know you are wearing a cotton shirt; you don't need to tell me that by wearing that statement.

do i sound very mean? hahahah sorry i was just too amused when i saw that.

another amusing incident: during monday's math tute, one guy was playing with a toy car. i shall not comment further.

AND last week, my math lecturer used the term 'dodgy' on a statement. he literally wrote next to it 'looks dodgy'. that was lol funny!

is it me or do a lot of funny things happen during math? hmmmm

well accounting lectures are always very humourous too, because the lecturer is so comical!

this week has been good! since most assignments were turned in last week, i suppose they tried to give us some sort of a break this week. next week it'll be back to crunch time again, once all the assignments start coming in, plus i've got two tests next next week.

life is good! i realise i may have sounded pretty emo for the last few posts but don't worry, it was a good learning experience for me (:

i'm getting to know my coursemates better slowly. and i'm making new friends at the same time (: don't know how many of them i'll actually form close bonds with, but it's always good to start somewhere (:

on tuesday i had a free lunch! it was for people in facofCommerce with scholarships. i got to bring my brother along with me. the lunch was quite informal, the only thing bearing a hint of formality was a speech by the dean. i met a few of my coursemates there; that was cool!

you know it's pretty interesting learning microecons in a different way. when i go back to spore, i may very well visit our dear econs madam and tell her all the different approaches she can use on the j1s and j2s. like labelling graph areas instead of the points, and teaching costs of production with tennis balls.

and when i next visit ac i also want to properly thank madamcpl in person for writing a very nice testimonial for me

it's friday tmr! :DD and i'm going shopping on saturday. i can't wait! hehehe
